Following the successful conclusion of the Northeast Creativity and Innovation Summit 2025 in Maiduguri, ecosystem partners gathered for a post-summit debrief led by Muhammad Bukar Umara, Chief Executive of Co-Development Hub. The meeting brought together key players from across the region’s innovation landscape, including Bitako Technologies, Development Hub, Innotech Hub, Splash Innovation Hub, Rhibo Innovation Lab, Haigha Tech, iDICE representative, and Visual Voyager among others.
In a show of regional solidarity and commitment to sustaining the momentum, Yobe State was unanimously nominated to host the next edition of the Summit in April 2026. The nomination was initiated by Abdullahi Abdulfatah of Rhino Innovation Lab (Yobe) and seconded by Engr. Abbas A. Baba of Development Hub, receiving enthusiastic endorsement from all in attendance.
The decision marks a bold step toward deepening regional collaboration and nurturing grassroots innovation across the Northeast.
